HANIA AMIR taunted USHNA SHAH about music taste. Actress Ushna Shah recently called out almost every Pakistani singer and said that she finds every Pakistani singer ‘mediocre’ except for Aima Baig and Quratulain Baloch. She said this after she somewhat didn’t like the OST of her upcoming drama series.
Later, she deleted the tweet and also apologized to Kiani after facing the backlash. However, actor Hania Amir took a funny take (at least we think it’s funny) on Ushna’s statement.
She ‘tried’ to sing a song for Ushna and requested her ‘not to lose hope on her’. Well, we won’t comment on her singing, but the dimple lady does look cute while singing an imperfect song with so much confidence.
Ushna earlier went on to comment on Sahir Ali Bagga’s Instagram post sharing his track with Hadiqa Kiani. She said, “Putting this on record, should’ve taken Aima Baig for the vocals,” adding the current track “ruined my visuals.”
Kiani also responded back and wrote, “Shall we educate Ushna Shah on some brilliant Pakistani female singers? Women need to support women so I think it would be really cool if we gave her some songs from Pakistani female singers?”.
The list of singers Kiani compiled to school Shah included a number of industry staples. It featured Abida Parveen, Madam Noor Jehan, Farida Khanum, Nazia Hassan, Sanam Marvi, Meesha Shafi, Zoe and Rachel Viccaji, Natasha Baig and Mai Dhai, among others.
Ushna Shah has now apologized to Kiani, blaming her ‘delirious and opinionated late night’ moments for the incident.
